Page inspections

Per-page truth, two ways: what Google’s URL Inspection API says about a page, and what a PageSpeed run measures — both stored per URL and cross-checked against the crawl.

URL inspection

For the pages that matter (chosen from Search Console traffic and the crawl’s risky pages), SiteTR stores Google’s own inspection sample — coverage state, indexing verdict, last crawl. It’s the ground truth for “is this page actually in the index” that rank tools can only approximate.

Crawl × Google

The interesting rows are the disagreements. SiteTR diffs the crawl against Google’s verdicts and files a finding when they contradict: a page that is live and linked but excluded, a page Google indexed that the crawl sees noindexed, verdict flips between checks. These become critical audit findings and alerts — the expensive accidents nobody notices for months.

PageSpeed sweeps

A PSI sweep queues every candidate URL through PageSpeed Insights — mobile or desktop — and lands the lab metrics (LCP, TBT, CLS, score) in one table. Sweeps run as jobs, so a 50-page site doesn’t mean 50 tabs.

POST /api/audit/psi-sweep
{ "target": "https://example.com", "strategy": "mobile" }
→ candidate URLs queued — the table fills as checks land

Real Chrome data

Lab numbers lie less when you pair them with field numbers: the Chrome UX Report contributes real-user LCP, INP, and CLS per page. Performance findings quote both — lab for the cause, CrUX for the consequence.

Exports

Inspection samples and PSI sweeps each export as CSV, and both fold into the per-site XLSX workbook.
