Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026 · Türkçe sürüm

What personal data SiteTR processes, why we process it, and the rights you have under the GDPR and Turkish KVKK.

1. Who is the controller

This policy covers sitetr.com, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“SiteTR”), registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].

For data-protection requests, contact: [DATA CONTROLLER EMAIL].

2. Data we process

We only process what the service needs to work:

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored salted and hashed).
  • Audit data: page URLs of the sites you scan, technical signals (response times, headers, redirects) and the scores we derive from them.
  • Search Console data: if you connect it, OAuth tokens and the site performance data we read through them.
  • Usage logs: IP address, browser type, timestamps (for security and service quality).
  • Billing data: payments run through a payment provider; we never store card numbers.
  • Early-access requests: the email address you leave on the get-access form (only to notify you at launch).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Creating and running your account — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
  • Security, abuse and fraud prevention — legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
  • Meeting legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Marketing emails — only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Retention

Account and audit data are kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period after closure (respecting legal retention duties). Usage logs are kept at most 12 months. Deleting your account deletes your audit data.

5. Sharing and international transfers

Data may be shared with our hosting and payment providers under data-processing agreements. Part of the audit analysis runs through our AI-analysis provider (an LLM API service); only the technical content of scanned pages is processed for that purpose. Where our infrastructure sits outside the EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR Art. 46; KVKK Art. 9).

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact [DATA CONTROLLER EMAIL]; we answer within 30 days at the latest.

7. Cookies

Our cookie use is described in the Cookie Policy.

8. Changes

We update this policy when needed and announce material changes in-product and by email. The date at the top is the effective date.
