Watch & drift

Pages break quietly — a deploy removes schema, a CMS toggle adds noindex, an editor guts a paragraph. Monitoring is how SiteTR catches it between audits.

Watch lists

Any page on a tracked site can be watched — the money pages by default. The scheduler sweeps them on a cadence, independent of full audits, so the interval between accidents and discovery is hours, not months.

The change feed

Every sweep of a watched page lands in the change feed with field-level diffs — not “page changed” but title: “Old” → “New”, meta description, noindex state, schema presence. The feed is stored, so “what changed on /pricing since the deploy” has an answer.

Named drift

Drift rules are named regressions, severity-graded, compared between sweeps:

schema removedstructured data that was present last sweep is gone
content gutteda page lost a large share of its visible text
noindex addeda page that ranked starts telling crawlers to stay out
agent

Alerting

Watched-page changes and drift feed the nine alert types — channels, HMAC-signed webhooks, suppression windows, and per-site threshold tuning are covered in Webhooks & alerts. Severity runs watch < warning < critical < emergency, the same tiers every tool reports.
